Registration for Climbing for Kids 2008
will begin on October 1st, 2008.
Join the Bay Area Wilderness Training (BAWT) Climb Team on Mt. Whitney, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Hood, or Grand Teton in 2008 and help get at-risk urban youth out of the city and into the woods.
Adult Climbers pledge to raise sponsorhips from friends and family, which will support BAWT with our year round work to get youth out on life changing wilderness trips. In turn you will receive the satisfaction of knowing you helped create a positive impact on the lives of over 1,000 at-risk urban youth each year (over 5,000 served). In addition, our generous sponsors have provided over $1,500 worth of free gear for each climber to keep! That way, you can continue to climb mountains for years to come.
